The Silent Aftermath

It was really quiet around and in the pool today.
Yesterday, it was filled with these little stinkers...
 ...and this little sinker.
Michelle even hung out most of the afternoon...
 ...and brought her nephew, Dillon...
 ...and her niece, Brianna.
There was a lot of floating going on...
...and a lot of smiling.
 Some diving...

 ...and some chill-axin', too.
 Even some bathing-beauty posing.
As well as some "I don't care what this looks like, I just want to be able to see under water."
And at the end of the day, there was a delicious barbecued birthday dinner...
...complete with some admiring of the bbq-master, himself.
I don't think Bob's ever seen Mom eat quite so much.

Cathy and Bill relaxed a bit between dinner and dessert...

...and then Cathy served us the MUD PIE she'd devoted about 8 hours to...
...and I enjoyed TWO pieces while we all settled down to watch "E.T." in the darkened living room, to end just about the best birthday ever.
And this morning, they all headed back to their own homes.
But not before I had them pose with the quilt that Joanne and Willard Eidson had made for Bob and me -- our first wedding present.

And then it was quiet again.
Love our family!
